Honoured by the presence of Minister of State, Chief Negotiator Mr. Egemen Bağış and the Director General of the General Directorate of Copyrights and Cinema Mr. Abdurrahman Çelik, the night was hosted by famous actress Cansu Dere.

20 film students have been awarded 2500 TL monetary award by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey while the top three degree winners were also given encouragement prizes by TURSAK and Canon.

Found deserving awards out of a pool of 245 submissions, 245 young screenwriters are presented their awards by a host of famous actors and actresses including Begüm Kütük, Demet Evgar, Ezgi Mola, Hazal Kaya, Mete Horozoğlu, Rıza Kocaoğlu, Sedef Avcı, Selma Ergeç, Serkan Altunorak, Umut Kurt and Zafer Algöz.
